Lichfield Archers run around three courses per year depending on demand. On each course we can accommodate up to fifteen people.

The course will consist of six two hour sessions run on consecutive Wednesday evenings. The first week starts at 7pm to allow for registration, subsequent weeks start at 7.15pm, all evenings run until 9.15pm.

A further 3 week intermediate period is also included for those that wish to join the club and further their archery training.

Your training will cover aspects of all modern bow types, arrows and accessories, shooting technique, scoring, safety and the rules of shooting.

All training is provided by accredited coaches and experienced club members.

Lichfield Archers have a large selection of club equipment and all of the necessary equipment will be provided.

All archers completing the course to a suitable standard will be issued with a GNAS recognised certificate of competency, which will enable the holder to apply for membership of any archery club.

Lichfield Archers will enrol archers from eight years of age. Juniors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Lichfield Archers is a wheelchair friendly club, and will accept archers of all abilities.

The cost for the course is £50.00, which includes all tuition, insurance and equipment hire for the duration of the course.
